  1. Very nice work. How do you your PURL rows so defined?
    Thank you

    1. Thank you! I just posted this comment on the 2012 cloth as well! =) Using the smaller needle size (US#3) makes a huge difference. It makes a thicker (and more absorbant) fabric and will really define your stitches. Try to keep your tension the same as you switch between knit stitches to purl stitches and vice versa. I'll also be posting about the blocking process later this week, and that makes a big difference too!

    2. So using a smaller needle for this pattern is better than using smaller, right?

    3. I mean using smaller is better than using bigger, sorry.

    4. I think my wording might have come out wonky, so I'll try again! =)

Worsted yarn usually calls for a US 5-7 needle size. If you use a smaller needle, like US 2-4, you will get better definition.

  2. Odd rows, K only? Or is it K the knits and P the purls?

    1. I'm sorry, I don't. But if you're looking for really cute crochet hot pads/dishcloths, head over to www.whiskersandwool.blogspot.com She has wonderful designs! I actually taught myself how to crochet (basic stitches) so I could make some of her patterns.
